Can't add card?

My PayPal was recently limited because the card I was using expired, but it won't allow me to add my new card. Any idea why is this happening? All the info is the same, but it just says 'We were unable to process your credit card registration at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date.' And if I try to add it through my Paypal Wallet, it says the card cannot be added.

You can't add a a credit card with the same number as a card already used.

Did you try removing the old credit card or just updating the date on it?

You mag just have to phone PayPal customer service for immediate help.

It won't let me remove the old one, but gives the option to change the card info, which I've tried to do a few times, but I keep getting the same error.

If your account is limited then you might need to lift your limitation first, or your card might be linked already to a different paypal account.
