Can a credit card be linked to my PayPal Credit Account?

A few months ago I made a purchase with Bill Me Later. Now it has turned into PayPal Credit and is linked to my PayPal account. I use my PayPal account to make purchases only and always have a zero balance. It is linked to a credit card and payments are automatically paid by the card. My PayPal acount is not linked to any bank.

Is there any way to set up PayPal Credit the same way? When I use a link to make a payment to PayPal Credit the first thing I get is a message that says I don't have a payment method yet. The only option given is to link to a bank account, which I won't do.

What other options do I have for paying off my old Bill me Later account?

• Pay online: Log in to your PayPal Credit account and click Payment Center to make a payment using your checking or savings account (we don't accept credit card payments). There's no fee for using this service, and you can schedule a payment for the same day or for a future date. To count for the same day, payments must be made by 11:59 PM PT.
