Is it possible to change the account settings so that payment notifications only get sent to the primary email address regardless of which email address someone used to send a payment?
I looked through the forum and looks like others have asked this question but never got an answer.

Unfortunately there's no settings or options available within your account profile to do what you have in mind.

There is another response that contradicts the former reply suggesting that all transaction confirmations go to the Primary email. See: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/About-Payments-Archive/primary-email/m-p/466813#M1148

There may have been some confusion with my previous response. One can have up to 8 email addresses associated with your PayPal Account. Any of those addresses are capable of receiving money. The primary address is the address used for notifications even when another address is used for receiving funds.
Most folks ask to about using a different address other than the Primary Address. The answer to that there's no features or options within your account profile to support that request.
