Receiving money from the states

Hi I live in Canada and someone in the states is sending me money to my PayPal and I got the email saying he sent it but I haven’t received anything into PayPal for it. How am I supposed to get the money into my PayPal?

Welcome to the community!

Is your email address confirmed on your PayPal account? If it is not, you will need to confirm it before you will be able to see the payment in your activity.

Also, if the payment is being sent in a different currency than the one you hold, you'll need to add the currency to your account in order to accept the payment. You can click on your Wallet, and the Manage Currencies, and add the currency there.
