Money Withdrawal Problem (Canada)

Hello,

 

I've linked my Scotiabank account to my paypal account by entering my Visa Debit Card number and by answering the personal security question asked by my bank. I've withdrawn money on December 21 from paypal account to my bank account. Today is January 11 and I still didn't recevie the money. When I called paypal and told them my full account number on phone, I've been told that they didn't transfer any money to the account number I provided on phone because during the linking process my bank didn't provide them with this account number.

 

How is this possible, since I've been asked my personal security question by my bank during the linking process? What will happen to the money? Will it bounce back to my PayPal account? Please help me.

Sorry but have you added a debit card OR your actual bank account setting up the direct debit mandate.

@kernowlass I think I didn't get what you are exactly saying but what I did when I wanted to link my paypal account to my bank account not to my credit card which is already linked, I've been asked to enter my card number, for which I entered my Visa Debit Card number, and after answering Scotia's security question the accounts were linked. I don't know what happened in between, just that Paypal says that they have not been provided my actual account number.
