I get this error whenever i try to send money on paypal
Is there anyway to fix this?
I Have $30 on my paypal! Smiley Sad

Same problem as all of you.

.I will tell you the whole story.

I wanted to send some money to my friend in dollars. I was going to do a bank transfer, however my barclays online thing is broken. I then thought I could paypal to my brother (because its free) and he could transfer to money to my friends account. So sent 560 pounds. After I have done this, my friend tells me he has pay pal. Ok great I thought, will save my brother a trip to the bank.
To check it works I send my friend 300 dollars. Ok that was easy. I then asked my brother to send me the money back to my paypal (my first mistake) and then I would send it to my friend. What I should of done is ask my brother to send directly to my friend but didnt want to give him the hassle (in case he put wrong email)..
I went to send the money to my friend, it didnt work.....hmmmm.....changed the money to dollars, which cost quite a bit, I might add. Tried to send again.....no luck t. Tried changing browsers, computer, removing cards, update details. Everything and still no joy.

Several emails later(cant phone as I am In Venezuela at the moment and it will cost a fortune) and here we are.

I have the money in the paypal account $850 and cant do anything with it, I even asked my friends to send a money request. I dont know what else to do.
I am really starting to lose my faith in Pay Pal.

Maybe the only solution is to phone them. I had a problem with my account being frozen a few weeks ago and informed them I was in Venezuela and had to send them some documents. That took 5 days.

Please Paypal sort these issues out. You are really lucky there is not a viable alternative to you... YET

Hello!

I have the same problem.

I use pay pal since 2008 and I never had any problems. But now I don't know what to do anymore...

It's been a week now. I called customer support (after writing an email and there I only got answers to questions often asked... my question wasn't there) and I was told that their security system sees a problem in me paying an order (it's not the first time I ordered something on that site with pp. It always worked...) and that I have to use another payment method. Great problem solution...

I read that the problem goes away someday(?) but it really sucks, I don't want to wait. Using another browser, deleting cookies and the cache didn't work for me by the way. I'm really disappointed.

Yes, It happened to me for 2 days I try to send money to buy something. I cannot do it.

Ok, my solution was to call customer support and arrange a validation of my account through the security system of paypal. A lady from customer support tried to call me after reading my e-mail and gave me that information. Half an hour later after calling and setting up that validation I was able to pay again. I was so glad! I hope this info is helpful to people who are (still) dealing with that problem.

There is no solution, i tried everything even called customer service all they had to say was nothing, literally the dude was like sorry there's nothing else we can do besides you trying after a day or 2 and i did same issue, so there's nothing i can do? and he said my transaction may have been flagged by security even though i verified my social security and phone number is under my name, and my balance is from PayPal cash card meaning i used real money to put into the balance so its not even an issue about fraud since i'm not using credit card or bank, this is directly from my money, so please if any PayPal representatives here can help me, this is fustrating and i owe money!

I was having this problem earlier, through their website and android app. I noticed someone mentioned in a previous post to remove the credit card on file. As I was about to do so, I noticed that it was still "unconfirmed." 

 

I clicked on "confirm" and didn't have any problems sending money afterwards. But oddly enough, I was sending money through my bank account, so I'm not sure why my CC was an issue.

 

If you're still having this problem, try checking if there is anything (bank info, credit card info, cell phone, etc) that needs verification.
