Payment taken back?

So, some time ago my ex had given me some money over paypal to freely use. As of recently we're not on good grounds. I've already spent the funds (About two months ago) And now she's "Taken" them back and put me over $70 in debt. Any way to fix this? Is this even legal?

She put it in as "Payment not Authorized"

There are 3 ways to open a dispute,one is unauthorised transaction,meaning she never authorise the transaction,it aint her sending you the money.

if you have sold something to her,then there is seller protection,go read the terms of paypal.

But it sound like your ex gifted you the money and now filed she did not do it,not much you can do.

next time,ask for cash or personalc heck or western union

It was only a $50.50 payment, which doesn't explain the other missing $20, but wouldn't this overall be fraud? The money was given on the basis that I'd use it.
