Long Delays in Downloading History

We have been using the Download History facility everyday for our daily tranaction report. In the past week it has started taking far too long to process. Previously it took under 5 minutes, now it is taking several hours and sometimes much longer. Sometimes it times out over 24 hours and cancels the request. This is becoming very frustrating as we update our accounting records daily.
Does anyone have any experience and or advice?

Not just you.
It didn't work a few months ago but then started working again after a few weeks.
It hasn't worked for a few weeks now which is infuriating as I need it for tax reasons. Every morning I hope it will have worked and come in to see the dsame message as you.
Hopefully it will kick in soon.

Good to know I'm not alone 🙂 I've had confirmation of an issue from Customer Services now:
"We’ve received a report from our Technical Team that there was an intermittent issue on our site on which a small number of our customers were experiencing an error when downloading their transaction history log."
Still failing for me, but they say they'll send through a manual export, which at least allows me to do the books in the meantime.

For months we've experienced delays of up to several hours in downloading a simple monthly activity report. So for book-keeping, it has become necesary to request reports a day or two in advance of the book-keeping work, to allow Paypal time to create the (really simple) report. However, as you've already experienced yourselves, now so too are we, the issue has escalated:
Sorry, we were unable to process your request to download the following log:1 Aug 2016 through 31 Aug 2016.
The failure may have been caused by an unexpected system error or unusually high demand on our servers.
Please try your download again. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I'm still unable to download anything, so I've given Customer Services another chase. The more people who log support tickets about this the better!

I have got July and August transaction to reconcile adn soon September; does anyone know whenb this will be fixed?

Same here.... seriously agravating and not least due to my popualr accoutning software breaking quite fantastically and I now need to reimport 9 months worth of paypal tranactions and recocnile... fun fun fun.
