I want to test a new Buy Now button before publishing the post it will be in on my Wordpress blog. How can I do that? I think the button doesn't become active until I publish.

You can test the code right from your desktop or laptop. Assuming you used the Button creator to generate the code. Just copy and paste the code you created to a blank web page. Save the page as Test with an extension of .htm or .html, then open the page with your browser. You can use this method to test any code you create before going live.

Thanks for quick reply. My problem is that Wordpress automatically sends an email to all Followers when I publish a new post. I can create a test post, but everyone will get an email showing the test post. In Wordpress, I don't see a Save As option which would let me add the extension. I guess my questions relate to how Wordpress works. If you can offer any help, I would appreciate it.

As far as testing the code, it's not done through Wordpress. (You can simply do that right from your desktop or laptop.) As for what's happening with Wordpress, you may want to go through their support for help. Best I can explain is all you can get from PayPal is the button code - how it's used on various sites such as Wordpress is normally supported by that site.
