Here is my problem Pay pal allows us to use e mail address as a username trouble is that my e mail address is closed bought out by another company but I can not change my username I understand that if I open a business account it could be under my new current e mail address I don't have a business of my own would that make a differance ?? or is it best to open another pay pal account with my current g mail address.
Just log into your current PayPal account and add a new email address on the profile (gear icon) page. After you add and confirm the new email address, go back to edit the new email address and mark it as Primary email, hit save. Then click the trash button next to your old email address to remove.
I am sorry that I did not respond as fast as I could have but I think that I was misunderstood I have trouble with the account name which is my e mail address on pay pal which is no longer in use and can not reopen it for security reassons I can not have another address say a g mail address and my account name for pay pal which is a diffent e mail address since they do not match money can not be deposited or withdrawn this is why I was thinking about getting a business account if I am correct will have to have or use a different e mail address for the account name then I could match it up with my current e mail address without having to open a new pal pal account if this does not work then I will have to open up another pay pal account I hope that this helps and is not to confusing.
