Classic shipping on its way OUT!!

A few times when I click on the "switch to classic shipping" link from the ShipNow page, I get a survey asking why I want to use the classic site and telling me it will soon be unavailable.

The reason I want to use it is, because it lets me pay for my shipping with my (rewards) credit card!! I have not found a way to do that with the Beta shipnow page. Unless I took all the money out of my PP account and bank account, which would MAKE it charge my credit card. But I fear that would wreak havoc with my bank account, having to decline charges etc.

Why can't they leave it the way it was!!! So frustrated.

if Paypal charges your credit card,there is a fee Paypal has to pay .

a transaction fee and a discount fee,does it pass it onto you now?

no, it doesn't, nor does any other merchant that accepts CC as payment. I understand WHY they are doing it, I am just frustrated that they ARE doing it.

I use PP shipping for my Amazon orders specifically because I CAN charge the shipping to a CC, and I avoid the 7 cent fee AZ charges. I don't mind a little cut and paste for order confirmation. But if PP changes I might as well do all my AZ shipping from AZ.

It will be interesting to see how the change affects Ebay shipping.
