CC Extended Warranty still valid when paying my CC through PayPal?

I know this has been asked, but could not find a solid answer.

Are extended warranties from Visa Signature or MC World Elite still valid when making a purchase through PayPal to the merchant using your CC?

Can anyone confirm?  Appreciate any input.

I don't see why not since the actual charges go on those credit cards with those account features.  When I use my Amex to pay, I still get reward points and benefits that Amex provides me.

You need to itemized store receipt, Visa card receipt (ie. PayPal payment email with payment method shown), amongst other docs.
