I have been asked to be a contact person for an overseas charity.  is this real?  They wany my banking informaion.

You have got to be joking.

You would seriously consider giving your banking info to an international stranger???????

You have heard about scams have you?

For a start the whole point of using paypal is keep your financial information hidden.

Also if they are asking you to be a middleman then you will find you will probably get money in your paypal balance > pay it on to someone and then face a load of chargebacks that will put your balance into negative and you will end up with a large debt.

Suggest you do some reading on online security.
