Accessing a closed account which had a Paypal.me link to provide support in small claims case

Hello all,

Is there anyone who knows if I can access a closed Paypal account which had a Paypal.me link associated with it? My

situation is this: I gave a company a Paypal.me link which they told me I had to create in order to be paid for services

provided to them. After successful completion of  services on 4 dates early this year, the company failed to deposit

funds into the linked Paypal.me account. Months subsequent to that, I closed my paypal account associated with this link

due to frustration with ebay purchases - 8 out my total of  10 purchases were either delivered to someone else or delivered

damaged or not as advertised. I am trying to support my claim against this company by having a record of the account/link

having shown no funds ever being deposited or withdrawn.

Any comprehensible info/suggestions would be appreciated.

See the advice from a PayPal moderator in this thread.  I realize that the thread is from the UK forums and dated in 2010 but contacting customer service first and having verifying that you own the closed account via a written request is a sensible answer.
