Sent package with a voided shipping label...

So the most unfortunate thing happened to me today.

I had a package out on my porch scheduled for pick up by the USPS. In the morning I walked out and saw it had been moved so I thought that the USPS came, saw it, and left it for some reason. They usually pick up in the morning so I knew something was weird, so I went in and voided the shipping label on the package and printed a new one. When I went outside to put on the new label I saw that USPS had taken it. 

tmalss, I've shipped a package with a voided label, and an extra label that cost me $15.30. Will USPS return my package since the label is voided?

You would really want to check with USPS, however in my experience they won't know immediately if the label's voided. So they'll scan it in and ship it; they just won't honor the void request (since it takes about 15-21 days to get a refund for a label).  I think it should be ok though.
