Recurring Payments Between Individuals

Hello! I found a couple of topics about recurring payments, but I am still lost.

Here's the situation: I have a Paypal Premier account. I have a family member who wishes to send me reoccuring payments, either monthly or bi-monthly. They would be doing this from either a bank account or a credit / debit card. This is not a business transaction, just a monthly transfer to help me pay for essnetials. Is there a way to do this, and if so where can I find the information on how to set it up, what the requirements are, etc . . .

If recurring payments cannot be made from a bank or credit / debit card to my account, would it be possible for them to make a Paypal account and then set up recurring payments to me?

I wanted to set it up as a transfer from their bank to my bank, but they use Chase and have told me that Chase does not allow money transfers to personal accounts that aren't also Chase accounts. Making an account with Chase for myself is not an option. I was hoping that Paypal would be a good solution, but I haven't found any evidence that recurring payments between individuals is possible.

Hi Hawksigh,

Recurring payments can't be set up on the payer's side, but you could set up a subscription button that a sender could click to set up a recurring payment agreement with you.

I hope this helps!
