I put off converting to the new Paypal interface as long as I could, as I didn't like the way it looked and suspected it would be full of bugs, and it turns out I was right.
One way I used to send payments was to copy the e-mail address from an email and then paste it into the bar for payee in "send money," but you can no longer paste e-mail addresses into the payee bar. You have to manually punch it in, and that sometimes leads to typos. Also you can't customize the title of the e-mail that will be sent with the payment. I don't want my payments being announced with some stupid "you've got money!!!!" title.
I also noticed that if you put ina wrong payee e-mail, the new paypal interface does not tell you upfront, as the old one did. It used to tell you that the person was not registered, which right away clued you in that the email was probably wrong.
Another problem -- now the overview page won't load for me on a desktop -- the "working" spirals just spin and spin forever, meaning that I need to use my phone to find out the status of my account.
There may be some soothing response posted to this, but really, why change it? It worked fine before and offered useful features. Now, it's an endless headache sending payments and managing my account. Why not permit people to use the superior "classic" interface?
