Help!
I recently started to use the Paypal Here app on IOS. It works fine, but as soon as I swipe a card, it switches from English to Japanese.
Paypal support suggested this was a known error, and I needed only remove Keyboard from my device that are in languages OTHER than Englsih. I have removed all non-english keyboards, including Emoji, and the error persists.
I have logged in and out.
I have deleted and reinstalled the iOS app.
I have removed all keyboard other than english.
I have resprung my iPhone.
I have rebooted my iPhone.
I have done all the above at the same time, with no luck.
Suggestions/Help?

I finally got this fixed. Keeping in mind I am on iOS 9.0.2, here is what seemed to do it:
Settings>General>Language&Region>
-Remove "Japanese"
If you cannot find this in settings, please keep in mind you may be on a newer iOS than me (9.0.2) and it may be located elsewhere.
If you still have Japanese issues, or Japanese will not allow it's own removal, try going to: Settings>General>Keyboards and remove any keyboard that may be dependant on the Japanese language settings, then go back and remove it undr Language&Region. I had already done this in an earlier attempt to fix the issue.
At this point I test-swiped my own card, and the app proceded correctly (all english).
Remember that you can not test the Paypal Here app if you are on a voice call already at the same time.

Suggest you call PayPal again and make sure you talk to a PayPal Here specialist. Also, make sure your problem is added to their current ticket for this problem.
I use Android and a blue tooth keyboard, so I can't be of any help on iOS. I have called PayPal Here support, however, on numerous other times and have found some helpful specialists. PayPal Here also has a known issue with their bluetooth chip card reader not connecting on wake-up from sleep; they still haven't found the cause of that problem and don't have a fix and it's really annoying and creates sales problems.

Glad yo clarified, I thought you meant the entire PayPal app switched to Japanese when you used a bluetooth keyboard.
So, its only the onscreen keyboard that changes language, not the whole app?

Actually, you were closer the first time. The entire app DOES change to Japanese. This usually starts with the swipe (status overlay), then continues through signature, and receipt screens. The keyboard isn't needed through those, so I have no idea if the keyboard (hidden at the time) is also switching. On the next transaction, it is already back to english.

I found the same fix (delete Japanese from langueages in settings) yesterday, and came to share it and you got it as well. Yay!
