PayPal Forcing Me To Upgrade to Business

When I log into PayPal, it redirects to a page asking for my SSN and date of birth to make my personal account into a business account. I do not need or want a business account, but it won't let me go back to see my balance or anything. Every page redirects to the business setup page.

Is there a way to back out of this?

If you are selling items then you need a business account as you are not supposed to sell on a personal account.

They allow you to for a while but when you have received a few card funded payments you are forced to upgrade.

I am not selling any items using this account, I only use it for purchasing from other people. I have recieved money from the family and friends option a few times, but I'm not selling anything.

Again, I can't get past the upgrade to business account screen after logging in, so I can't check my balance or even transfer my balance to my card or bank account. Is there any way to get out of it, since I'm not selling anything on this account?
