I have one business LLC with two DBA (Doing Business As) names. I have three emails in my paypal account. If a customer sends money to any of those emails, the charge appears on their statement as "JB DESIGN". I want to set up a child account so a different name appears on their statement depending on what email they send the payment to.
So for example:
If a payment is sent to firstdba@domain I want their statement charge to appear as "FIRST DBA"
If a customer sent a payment to seconddba@domain, the charge should appear as "SECOND DBA"
But all funds would be deposited in my one business bank account for JB DESIGN.
Make sense? I have called customer service and I really think the fact that English was obviously not the service agents first language and that I speak with a heavy southern drawl created a bit of a communication barrier.
Apparently this was possible circa 2011 per the link below:

It's not that the agent I talked to said it was no longer possible, she said it was never possible. I really don't think she understood what I was trying to explain to her though.
Still possible? Please help

I heard it could be done or there is such a thing. Call these guys up: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/merchant
Ask to speak with a business specialist if the agent don't know what you're talking about.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Yes, this can be done. I just got off the phone with a very helpful merchant services agent. Basically you still have to have multiple accounts with seperate logins. The way I understand it is that one is the parent where you can deposit funds to your bank account. The other(s) are linked to the parent and funds can only be transfered from the child to the parent then deposited to the bank account from there. You have to create your payment buttons or APIs under the child account of how you want your business name to appear on their statement.
The agent created me a new account to be the child. I am still waiting for them to be linked as parent/child accounts. This is apparently something a technical department has to do, not something the agent can do themselves. I don't know how long that process takes. Surely no more than a day or two if that. I suppose I will understand it better once I start using them.
For any future readers, call the merchant services people as the regular paypal customer support will probably have no idea what you are talking about.
