Adding a Paid Subscription Button Issue...

I've just added a "Subscribe" Paypal button for a monthly subscription. On the return URL in the button creation I'm putting the URL I want people to visit after they purchase.

The problem is, many people don't click the "continue" link after the purchase.

Is there a way I can AUTOMATICALLY return the buyer to my URL right away? I'm sending them to a page where they sign up for a paid newsletter using an Aweber email subscription form.

Welcome to the Community!

You might try out the Auto Return feature under My Selling Tools > Website Payment Preferences.  Auto return takes the buyer to a custom page you create after they successfully make a payment.  This will allow you to skip the "continue to merchant" link in this scenario.  Auto Return does have some requirements in how it's used, which will be listed in your Profile.

Another item to keep in mind with Auto Return is that it won't affect buyers who use a guest checkout process, but with standard subscriptions, that won't be much of a consideration.  Should you expand, though, you'll want to take this into account.

Also, if you have existing buttons, you may need to remove the Return URL from the button coding and re-publish them.

Thanks!
