New PayPal policy starts October 2019. Right now, If your buyer returns an item, PayPal has always returned their fee to the seller. With the new policy, the seller will have to refund the PayPal commission to the buyer. Not so bad if you sell cheap items, but if you sell expensive goods, this will hurt. i.e. You sell an item on eBay for $1000. PayPal charges about $90 commission. The buyer returns the item. PayPal will keep the $90, and you have to send the buyer the full value of the sale, plus $90. An obvious money-grab by PayPal. What other ways can eBay sellers get paid besides PayPal?
