I don't know how it works in France but a PayPal cash account might be needed to transfer "cash" FROM your bank account to PayPal. It is not the same as transferring money from PayPal TO your bank account. Je ne sais pas comment cela fonctionne en France, mais un compte PayPal en espèces pourrait être nécessaire pour transférer « de l’argent » de votre compte bancaire vers PayPal. Ce n’est pas la même chose que de transférer de l’argent de PayPal VERS votre compte bancaire. Check the website or the app to set up a cash account if you don't have one Consultez le site Web ou l’application pour créer un compte de caisse si vous n’en avez pas. Hope this solves your problem. @PayPal_Olivia I am now in possession of a "working" PP Mastercard. I've made a couple of small online purchases with it. I'm waiting to see if they are posted without any issues. Not making the same mistake as I did with PayPal Credit by purchasing a big ticket item the first time around. Too stressful to do without $$$ for a whole month. @PayPal_Olivia I finally received the form they were referring to---- which was just an authorization form for the Fraud Department to contact Social Security about my Social Security # Hopefully there aren't any more issues about it as I only use my M.I. on things I order instead of my entire full name. I haven't had an issue before.

@trrb All of the mail I receive by regular mail from PayPal Credit has an Orlando, Florida P.O. Box (same as the last 5 digits of the 9-digit zip code) >>> (Zip)32896-5045. It's not Atlanta.

@PayPal_Olivia I didn't actually call the number that was in the eMail. I called the contact number on my Account Summary Page for the PayPal account which redirected me to Synchrony Bank for the Mastercard Account. The last digit for the account that is on the Summary Page is incorrect. It does NOT match what is on all the correspondence I've received in the mail at my home address from PayPal regarding this account. I believe this is what is causing the problem. I'm still waiting for these forms in the mail. Now I'm sitting here with this credit card that I can't use.

I was approved for a PP Cash Back Mastercard and have received the card in the mail. However in the mean time there appears to be an issue with the account. I received an eMail telling me to call Customer Service (but for the Extras card, not the Cash Back card.) I wasn't sure which number to call so I called the number in the eMail even though it was for the other card and not the one for mine. When I called I was told I would be receiving a packet in the mail with some forms to fill out and when they were reviewed and approved I would then be able to use my card. Q #1 What are these forms they are talking about..... I haven't received the forms yet; it's already been 8 business days from 9/5. I'm still waiting. Q #2 The last 4 digits on the account number for all the correspondence I've received thus far and the card I received does NOT match the last 4 digits that appears on the PayPal wallet and PayPal account page (the last digit is different.) I am of the opinion this is causing the issue with the account. I asked the CS service rep if this was normal for the account numbers to be mismatched She said it was but that doesn't seem right. If anyone has any opinion I would be interested in hearing them

FOR U.S. :Maybe the vendor hasn't posted the transaction to his account yet. This is Sunday and not a "business" day so you might have to wait until Monday.

I have a similar issue with PayPal and PayPal Credit. On July 6, 2019 I purchased a HP computer on Best Buy online thinking I'd be able to pay for it over a 6 month period using Pay Pal Credit. Everything looked fine until I checked my bank record and to my surprise my savings account was overdrawn by that same amount.....All because PayPal decided to take it out of my Savings account instead, Now I'm stuck with an overdraft I won't be able to cover until the first of the month as I am a senior citizen I get that that PPC doesn't cover everything BUT why was PayPal Credit at the top of the list of funding sources on my account page if it wasn't available for this purchase. Or if the amount was too high for a single purchase why wasn't it declined in the first place. Now I'm afraid of ever using that credit line.

On Saturday July 6, 2019 I received a credit Line for $500 from PayPal Credit. Later that day I purchased a computer from BestBuy. I chose PayPal Credit as my source of payment. Everything was going fine (or so I thought)until Monday when I was checking out my bank account and discovered that my bank account was overdrawn by $400+ because PayPal instead of charging PayPal Credit for the transaction charged it to my savings account. Now that would not be a problem if I had had enough in my account to pay for it but I didn't so now I stuck with an overdrawn bank account and I won't be able to cover it for 21 days until I get my next SSA/SSI payments. I don't know what could have gone wrong. Does anyone here have any ideas.
