HERE IS A BETTER IDEA...   SELLERS MENTION IN YOUR (STATE WHICH CITY) LOCAL CRAISLIST AND IF =BOUGHT OFF CRAIGSLIST THE WILL RECIEVE A DISCOUNTED PRICE TO MAKE UP FOR WHAT WE PAY EBAY /PAYPAL .  ACCEPT ONLY MONEY ORDERS..   TELL ME THAT AS A BUYER YOU WOULDNT WANT TO SAVE 25% OF THE COST.... WHICH IS PRETTY CLOSE TO WHAT ALL THESE FEES EQUAL OUT TOO. THATS A DECENT CHUNK OF MONEY...CONSIDERING PAYPAL WANTS TO BORROW IT FOR 21 DAYS  AND WE CANT TELL THEM NO BECAUSE THEY SEE HOW MUCH MONEY  THEY COULD MAKE BY MAKING 3% OF WHAT I IMAGINE WOULD BE CLOSE TO IF NOT WELL OVER $XX,000,000 (DOUBLE DIGIT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS)   CHIT... I HATE TO ADMIT THIS BECAUSE I THINK ITS DEVILISH....      BUT  ID TAKE 3% OF THAT AND **bleep** EVERYONE OVER TOO..... SORRY BUT AT LEAST IM HONEST. ... View more

EVERYONE seems to be pretty upset here. the bottom line is paypal is a business. their primary goal is to make as much money as possible with as little overhead as possible. if im wrong please let me know... yes, there was a time when the  paypal logo meant that everybody was happy and nobody got ripped off. NOW PAYPAL AND EBAY HAVE BECOME SUCH A HOUSEHOLD NAME THAT THEY BELIEVE THEY HAVE THE POWER OVER THE PEOPLE TO DO WHAT THEY WANT WITH PEOPLES MONEY THAT WAS ENTRUSTED TO THEM. *** THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A SECOND *** QUESTIONS : -WHY IS THE SELLER THE ONE THAT HAS TO PAY FEES AND NOTHING ON THE BUYERS END???   -WHY  CAN A BUYER REFUND ME A BOX OF ROCKS AND PAYPAL GIVES HIM 700$ BACK  FROM ME, A SELLER AND THE BUYER GETS TO WALK AWAY WITH A FREE 1000$ T.V. I JUST HAD TO SELL SO MY KIDS COULD PLAY SPORTS THIS YEAR??? AND GUESS WHAT??? I HAD TO STILL PAY PAL AND EBAY FEES FOR THAT CHIT...   ANSWER: THEY TAKE MONEY  FROM  THE SELLER  NOT BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT THE BUYER..... BECAUSE THEY KNOW THE SELLER EITHER NEEDS MONEY SO THERE IS NO CHOICE BUT TO ACCEPT PAYPALS FILTHY, GREEDY POLICIES AND COMPLETELY LAME AZZ EXCUSES AS TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND WE ALL ACCEPT IT..     WE SELLERS  SIT HERE AND **bleep** ABOUT THIS.... WE NEED TO HAVE THE BUYERS PAY SOME OF THESE FEES AND LETS SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE USING PAYPAL TO BUY THINGS.....   I SAY WE RAISE THE PRICES ON MERCHANDISE 25%-30% AND SIMPLY ADD TO OUT LISTINGS THAT DUE TO OUR NEW PAYMENT PROCESS WE HAVE TO CHARGE EXTRA FOR  FUNDS HELD.   HONESTLY WHY DOES PAYPAL THINK WE ARE THERE EMPLOYEES AND THEY ARE OUR MANAGERS THAT DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITHG OUTR MONEY.       ... yes, i should read it for myself. however we all know they need to make it as hard to understand as possible... im just not a good reader... if anybody can please help me out with just a few questions, id greatly appreciate it.   - when I log into my account overview there is red tagged header that says          "Important message about your account. From now on, money you receive will be temporarily held in a pending balance. "    is this correct? Or should i have clicked the link that would have said in reallt big letters.... "april fools"   -how, who, what, when, where and why is this happening? is it because they figure that if they hold onto eveybodies money for 21 days (i cant even imagine how much money that would be) that they will make hundreds of thousands of extra $ from peoples interest?   - why would they do that to the sellers?   i guess thats all i need to know at this moment because if this is true... im outta here and if this is true and you stick around for that b.s., youre  just a fool getting punked by a multi billion dollar comp[any for your hard earned money  which to them is nothing more then a meal at a 5 star reastuarant.   i sell things on ebay because im a single father of two that needs to make sure my kids  have the basics... and if they are lucky, i wont have to tell them they cant play soccer this year . not so i can take them on a 2 week vacation to walt disney world or so i can throw under my bed for their college one day.    did everyone get this or is it just me...???  sorry for trippin out but they already take...what 10% for ebay and whatevers it already is for paypal....   please advise... ... OHH YEAH.... I WROTE THE LAST POST.... when paypal is doing what they are hired by the buyer, it is a great !!! i really do think that paypal should just open up a online claims... thingy. paypals thing should be what it intended to be from the get go. instead ebay/paypal is only making people hesitant and worried about using their services.i know that after some of the decisions ive seen paypal make with my money  (which i never intended to allow and still dont approve of), i honestly feel like paypal has allowed me to get robbed... and paypal had done just that. maybe not intentionally but paypal has allowed it and overseen it happen.   at the least propose to your superiors that they need to  invest more money, time and manpower to the resolution center. right now its utterly ridiculous how unfair and (sorry to say this but...) chitty it the resolution center is. if it has to do with the buyer complaining about an ebay item, its like it doesnt matter what happened or whats going to happen the seller looses. then to top it off you cant even leave feedback for the buyers.... anyhow ...before i get carried away. paypal needs to stop allowing the sellers to be ripped off.  we pay you good money. how many millions does paypal make a week???? ... ohhh boy.... dear sir,     i have feedback for you that i would like you to into cosideration from a neutral point of view. please do understand that i am writing this in the same manner.     first, paypal is supppose to be like a third party. holding and transfering money between buyer and seller. when paypal is doing what they first set out to do, everything is fine. however, when paypakl oversteps its boundries and acts like a small claims court or like the seller works for them, its all  bad. i do understand that paypal is a business and needs to keep money flowing to make money. what paypal seems to really lack is that the sellers are what keeps paypals employeees paid. not the buyers. to put it in other words,  the sellers choose to use paypal.  both paypal and the buyers need the seller!!! the sellers should be given a little more control of their own money that paypal is   being paid to hold for them. not make the decisions. paypal works for the sellers.  if paypal wants the authority of a judge or as a bank then they should open a different business to govern and/or judge cases that need a third party to intervene. paypal has enough business and problems to deal with just being a third party.    next, seller protection???? where??? the first time i actually read what paypals "seller protection"  plan is, i laughed. still i laugh when i get **bleep**ed over just because i still chose to use paypal.  i am an honest person that isnyt out to steal, hustle or take anyones mooney that i dont deserve. i feel like paypal is almost a security gate for buyers that are actually online shoplifters. they buy something and then tell paypal its s.n.a.d. and no matter what the facts or scenario is, paypal issues them a refund. example (and the reason i replied to this):  i gave inerchangeable part numbers on a car relay  ebay auction. buyer purchased the relay from me and reported a s.n.a.d.  i was still fine with that until buyer sent the  "item" back.... a box with three rocks in it!!! does that matter??? nope, not to paypal obviously. if im wrong please PLEASE tell me............   i guess thats all i feel i should say right now because its kind of .... not fair and it **bleep** me off that i just lost something that i really didnt want to sell and the people i pay to hold my money just gave it back to a thief!   is there anything i canb do about it.... at this moment, no. this is part of the reason paypal has so  many class action lawsuits against them. in a nutshell coated with sugar... ITS NOT PAYPALS MONEY TO DO WITH IT AS PAYPAL DECIDES!!! ... View more
