Hi,   Unfortunately I am sorry to say this but, with unauthorised transactions, the chances of winning are basically none. PayPal are very poor when it comes to assessing these transactions. I am 100% sure that they do not compile as much data as they should before agreeing that a transaction is unauthorised. All they look into is IP addresses which is really poor in the modern day where the majority of online users use VPN's.   I suggest in the future, for higher valued items, you send physical copies of the digital code to the customers address. Therefore, if a customer claims there order was unauthorised, you have proof of delivery which will allow you to win an unauthorised transaction case for a digital good. For example, for an PlayStation subscription, you may send the customer their code electronically to their email. Then also send a physical copy of the PlayStation card (you got the code from), to the customer too with tracked postage option.   Do you know whether the customer paid through their PayPal balance or bank balance? ... Hi,   I would love to know the outcome of this case (if there is one yet). I also suggest for the future, you implement a system which is able to track when and where a customer is downloading your digital designs. If they need to have an account open on your website which has a purchase tab, maybe add a download button which is able to track the time, date, and IP address the button is clicked from.   This is just one little fun idea which could allow you to prove a digital design is indeed delivered. Unfortunately, if a digital goods transaction is unauthorised, there is absolutley no way you can win it I don't believe (this is from years of experience within this industry and from losing thousands). However, if a "item not received case" is opened, you can certainly win if you are able to provide dates, times, and IP addresses of where the digital items were downloaded. ... View more

Hi,   I believe you need to develop a feature within your system which allows you to track when a customer is downloading your digital goods and also where they are downloading their digital good from (IP address).   This information proves to PayPal that you did indeed deliver a digital item. You are a little lucky they didn't chargeback for an "unauthorised transaction" because there is absolutely no way to fight those off with digital items. However, as the customer chargedback and said they never received the item, I suggest asking PayPal whether they can open the case up again. If you have the IP log and date and time of the download available for this individual, provide these. Hi,   I can understand that this may be uncomfortable information to provide. However, some vendors of digital goods will usually ask for this information in order for you to prove your identity. This is important, especially in the digital goods industry as a lot of PayPal accounts are "hacked". The hackers will purchase digital goods and will activate the license keys they receive. Once the actual PayPal account holders found out about this, they chargeback for an "unauthorised transaction". This leads to vendors losing a lot of money due to stock prices, other costs affiliated with the sale, and then high chargeback fees.   Therefore in order for everyone to be kept safe, and for order authorisation to be confirmed, vendors will sometimes ask for these details. Same thing used to happen to me. It just went away over time. Make sure that your account is verified and has all relevent information confirmed on it. Example: Bank account Address   Also, may be try and transfer less often. That helped me too. Honestly, over time, it just goes away on its own. ... View more

I know that was a couple months ago. But, I only just saw it. It just fixed itself as I started receiving more. Think it was because the account was under 90 days old. Once it hit the 90 day mark, believe most problems got solved themselves. Payments are still held if over £10 per sale and I make a couple of them per day. The sending money part fixed itself within a couple of weeks. And the probelm regarding withdrawals kind of still consists. But, it will usually say it is gonna take 72 hours but, withdraws within a couple of seconds.   I hope this helps although very late.
