Yeah don't worry that is not the issue - Gibraltar is UK anyway, I live in Gib, it's my hometown, just finished university a while back. Have withdrawn/deposited/used paypal loads over past few years, this is not such a complicated issue, its simply a case of the withdrawal going missing (15 days!! :(( ) and being jammed in the system somewhere. As i say, withdrawing on friday is a bad idea, as thats when things can go wrong due to a busy week and overload of info. Sorry, shouldn't have assumed.   Gib is lovely, monkeys are great, lovely food, culture, etc - my hometown    You should visit this summer 🙂    Thank you - back to the topic at hand (im so annoying i know!), have u ever had a trace done? how long did it take?    I've been 15 days without my funds that i withdrawn ages ago. Never, ever had a problem with PP and withdrawn much more than this before. So whats the delay. I will never withdraw on a friday (night) again, it can be jammed in the system etc.    What are your thoughts etc so you can ease my concerns?   Cheers James  ... View more

Thank you brother   Lots of respect   Been 15 days and no funds, had to miss 3 weekends of proper fun, its 400 quid not much but enough for a few drinks and a shopping! Hello guys   I've been writing here a bit recently but to no avail.   On the 10th May I withdrew 400 pounds from my paypal account into the bank - i do this a lot and have never had a problem with paypal, in a few days boom its in the account .    Yet this time, it's taken 14 DAYS and still nothing in my account    I've never, ever had this issue.    I use PP religiously for years now ,we all do in my family, but ive had to put committments on hold for the past 2 weeks due to missing  funds.   They are now going to do a "" trace "" ... has anyone ever had their withdrawal delayed and subsequently "traced"? If so, how was it? Did you get your funds back soon? How long does it last? Hi guys  So im a big paypal user always have been, all our family is, but this is the first issue ive ever had with them. 13 days ago I withdrew money to my bank and its still not there. Its been so stressful and hectic and ive had to miss commitments cos of this. I understand modern tech is prone to some flaws here and there but 13 days is really long and bank says nothing pending (I paid for other things in the mean time with paypal and its all on statement). So now I have to do a trace. What does a trace entail, how does this work, has anyone ever been in this position before? It's only out of interest that I am asking because I want to carry on using paypal after this debacle is over, but I have a few trust issues now. Has anyone ever had their money take 14 days or longer or has anyone ever had to get a 'trace' to see what happened to it? If so, how long did that take, and how long did it take for you to get your funds back? Cheers , all replies are really, really welcome (from a stressed out guy!)     ... View more

Withdrawal 7 days still pending

Hey guys,   So last Friday (10th) I withdrew money from paypal, expecting it to be in the account by Monday/Tuesday/weds at very latest, as always. It's now the next Friday and there's nothing there. This despite getting the email from paypal last week that the money was on its way to the card. The bank says theres nothing pending, so maybe this is just lagged in the paypal system to release the payment right? Starting to worry as its my rent/bills money so not sure what to do. Have sent them an email. Really hope its there by Monday? Would you say this is not exactly that serious and I should give it at least 2 days more? If so, why did I get the email regarding the money being on its way to the card...    Any reccomendations and thoughts are welcome cheers guys   J ... View more
