My account has been frozen since March due to account limitation. I have forwarded identity confirmation as requested and this was acknowledged with a message indicating acceptance of the information.   However, my account is still frozen and I have repeated the identity confirmation with no positive result.   Is there a solution to this ?  Fortunately I do not need to use PayPal and my account has a NIL balance but I would like to delete the account but understand that this cannot be done while account is frozen. ... Christina I provided the information required to get my account unfrozen nearly 2 months ago. My Dashboard indicates that Contact details and Proof of Identity are all ticked, same for my Business account . The information provided complies with the criteria you quoted but still remains frozen.  No-one from PayPal will respond except by providing a link to FAQ which is of no use at all. If something is wrong with the information I have provided why can"t PayPal  say why the documents have been rejected. ... View more

My account has been frozen for 3 months and despite submitted the requested documents it remains closed. Fortunately there is no credit in it and I have stopped using paypal. They are most unhelpful, if they do replay to a message its only to forward a link to FAQ which is no help at all. I wish to close my paypal account but when I follow all the required steps and click 'close account' I get a pop us message that says account cannot be closed.  I have contacted PayPal but they only respond by showing link to FAQ menu which gives the same unhelpful information. I am really p----d off, my account has been frozen for months and PayPal do not respond to specific questions, just sending the FAQ link as described above.  Can someone PLEASE advise me how I can resolve this problem and  terminate this account and get me out of this appalling organisation. ... Big Problem with Frozen Account

My PP account has been frozen since March, I was requested to sent documents to re-verify which I did but still frozen.  Problem is I paid for airline tickets with PP and had to cancel flight, the airline say they can only repay into the account with which the tickets were purchased (PP) .  I have halted the airline from transferring the repayment into PP and they (airline) have requested document from PP indicating the account is frozen which I cannot provide because PP do not respond to my many requests.
