So, after exactly 30 days I was charged by Paypal for $20 - chargeback fee. Not only thay I lost the money, but I was charged for that!   3 hours after this money was taken from my Paypal account I have recived the e-mail from Paypal with message that goes like this: "The disputed amount has now been debited from your PayPal account because of the following reason(s):   Intangible goods or services are not covered under Seller Protection   In addition, you have been debited a 20,00 USD chargeback fee.  If the financial institution decides the case in your favor, we will notify you that the payment will be returned to your PayPal account. We understand that you may not have been expecting this case. If this case has made your PayPal account balance negative, please log in to your PayPal account and add money to your PayPal balance. We'll email you if we need any further information from you. Thank you for your patience during this process. We appreciate your business."   Does this means that the dispute is over and I have lost? ... View more

Negative balance

So, I got a chargeback dispute and money was removed from my Paypal. Ok. But then I was left in negative balance. The thing is that I am using USD, Euros and GBP. So I am in positive balance with Euros and GBP, but in negative balance with USD. Overall I was in positive balance arround 2 or 3 USD. But today, all of a sudden, without any notification, my Paypal balance is in negative overall by another around $20. So I have the same positive balance in Euros and GBP, but negative balance in USD, for around $20 more than before. When I try to add funds from my bank account (USD) i keep getting the message  The amount you have entered exceeds the add or withdraw funds limit.  But I have funds on my bank account.   Besides, my withdrawal limit is -0,01$ per day. hahahah  Ok, that is logical because I am in negative balance and I can not withdraw from negative, right. But again.   What am I to do? I have asked the support but still waiting for their answer. Was that negative balance increased because I was in negative balance in USD? And why there is no any notification? Is my account blocked? If so, why there is no any kind of notification or e-mail about that? Does the Paypal charge your account for like a negative balance fee? For how long I can be in negative balance?   I am confused and angry because all of this! ... View more

And preparing the way to try to get the account back, but it Is ruined and loss its worth by 1/3. At least, I can make the account being permanently banned. Buyer is a liar, a tief and a cheater. ... Greetings, all.   So I have sold a digital goods (game account) as I did dozens of times before. I was contacted directly by the buyer and have sold him the game account. After the payment was made, I  have sent him an e-mail containing login details. He never responded to that e-mail, but in-game chat he confirmed me that he received the game account and even changed its in-game nickname. And I have stayed in contact with the buyer, even playing together, because I was building new game account in order to sell it.   After almost a month, I got the e-mail from Paypal about opened dispute for that transaction by the buyers financial institution as Unauthorized transaction.   I have responed to Paypal request by sending the screenshot of the e-mail in which I have sent login details to the buyer and a screenshot of in-game chat where he claims that the account is awesome and how he even changed the in-game nick.   After that, I have contacted the buyer over teamspeak and he acted surprised and said that he does not know anything about it. After a while, he started saying that it is his ex-wife denying his purchases because hers card was connected to his Paypal account. Yea, right! I asked him just to let her know what is that transaction and to cancel a dispute. But he said that he was sorry and he will try to do anything he can and claims that he did not opened a dispute. And every few days I would contact him, and he would excuse himself and speaking how sorry he is...   Apart from that e-mail, I have nothing else as a proof that I have sent him this digital goods he bought from me. I have sent to the e-mail that was given to me by Paypal.   So, I am left without that game account. He owns it, he plays it, he ruined it. I would have no use of that account being returned to me. The only option for me is to have my money back or I am in a problem because that money was spent and I have end up with negative balance on my paypal.   What am I to expect now from Paypal after 15 days in the dispute? Am I eligible for Seller protections since it is a digital goods that I have sold and delivered it via e-mail? Is it possible that he really did not opened an Unauthorized transaction and that the bank did it because he was off his limits? What happens if he was off his money limits? What does it means to escalate in this case?   And what should I do in the future if I am delivering a digital service like boosting someones game accounts? How to be protected by Paypal?   Thank you all in advance ... View more
