Hello, My nonprofit opened a PayPal account two weeks ago. We uploaded the requested documents for our bank account as well as IRS docs showing we are a nonprofit. When PayPal sent an email saying they couldn't read our PDF's, we uploaded the jpegs they requested. Then waited. Then the website said it was missing the information again. Then I started calling and chatting. Each time a PayPal employee said they actually DO have all the documents required, but it would take ... 3 days. Then the next time, he said it would take 5 days. Today I tried calling and chatting again (it has been 7 days since the last chat). Now the employee says 48 to 72 hours. I asked him how I could complain about this, it is negatively impacting my nonprofit. He said I could email them at an address that I tried and found that it is not an active email address. When I said it was not fair to make me start all over (before I realized that he just gave me a fake email address), the employee ended the chat. Has anyone had such a problem with customer service? How can I get my account reviewed and operating? I just don't know what else to do.
