On December 24th early in the morning (about 3:00) unknown people entered via remote control (not clear how) my workstation (imac) and used a Chrome Browser to access one of my accounts with credit card payment. I just noticed the screen light of the workstation became brighter and thought an nothing bad about it. This morning (December 25th - again in the same hour, around 3:30 a.m.) I noticed the same effect. I also noticed that something moved on the screen. So I realized "someone" had my chrome browser (with an open google account - google loves to know people "connected") and inside that chrome it was "working" with my paypal account having just that email address as email account (but not the same password of course). According to my paypal recent activity history I could see that "somebody" made 2 payments (at Dec 24th) of USD 211,94 to the email addresses: Eric <removed> <removed> Transaction ID:15N191226B5510025 Card statement: "PAYPAL *CONSOLATAWA" and Walter <removed> <removed> Transaction ID:9PS30028WV854094J Card Statement "PAYPAL *WALTER3" Of course I do not know those people and I have no intention to give them any money. Very strange: No Paypal confirmation email messages were issued on those paymants! What I did: Right now I changed the password to that account, I removed the credit card from that paypal account.
