My CC flagged a charge for dispute a few weeks ago. Since then I've worked out what the charge was and found it legitimate. I've been jumping through hoops since, trying to get the money back to the vendor or at least back to me so I can find another way to pay him. Thankfully he is being patient but he's out over $400 now. I was told no further actions were needed on my part but the CC has taken the money out again over a week ago. Paypal has refused to send it back so the money is in limbo where I can't reach it. I need the money returned to him asap. I'm also having to verify my identity which is another hoop and a half. I just moved so all these documents they want are not easily accessible since nothing has my old address on it and I don't have a scanner right now. I emailed asking for help at least just returning the money to the vendor. Got an automated response. When I replied with the message wasn't what I needed help with, I got a second response saying "they see my problem has been resolved"? I'm not in the mood to be dragged into court because this money has somehow disappeared.
