Wow, I thought I was just a moron for not seeing a link to a very basic item that is included on every balance sheet ever created in the history of balance sheets....that is, of course unless you work for the counter-intuitive crew at PayPal. Glad to see it's just a giant scheme to be a pain in the **bleep** while making it impossible for people to gain real-time access to their money. This can't be legal. It's very simple.  If there is a plus sign next to an amount, it's a payment.  If there is a minus sign next to an amount is a deduction.  Add up all the deductions and write down what it comes to.  Then add up all your payments.  Now, subtract your deductions from your payments and you get your real balance.   ... I'm in the same boat, hadn't used PP or Ebay in 5-6 yrs, was alot easier and cheaper back then, all pkgs I sold have been delivered except the one I sent today. Once I get rid of the things I'm selling I'm transferring my money to my bank and am done with Ebay and PP. ... View more

I have been a victim of ebay buyer scams. I have posted a few items on ebay and had these encounters with these fraud buyers. They emailed me with a copyrighted email with a stamp of paypal saying that my funds have been held pending shipping tracking numbers. Since then I relisted the same item and cancelled the order. It happened again on the same item with a different buyer that wanted me to ship the item with the same email formats in order to get funds. I sent it to spoof@paypal and spoof@ebay.com and they both replied back saying this was a fraud buyer and to not reply to any emails. I then noticed someone hacked into my facebook account somehow and sent a link containing forgery viruses to all my friends and family on facebook and got alot of disturbing calls from them saying why did I send out that link. Also might I add the person who is doing all of this sent out a message on my facebook wall to my wife and friends imposing to be me, saying he got an ipad for free, and never had to pay for it. That is a hint to me showing he has access to this account. I was also surfing my ebay account for ipads at that moment so I dont know if he has access to my computer or blackberry. This is nerve wrecking and something has to get done. I am also still waiting for the first shipping order I paid for when I originally fell for this scam for 53.00 and they delayed my auction on a a high ticket item for over 2 weeks. Item was being sold for 699.99 and I lost the opportunity to sell this item to an actual qualified buyer. Something needs to happen with all of this, I feel like they are kicking ebay and paypal around and nothing can be done to fix this problem. I want justice one way or another........This is ridiculious and now I feel all my finances are in jeopardy for trying to sell a video camera for alot less than than what I paid for it. Well, I always recommend using a credit card to pay for purchases, even through Paypal - it's double coverage.   If you're selling a laptop, you're about to experience the wonderful world of scammers unless you establish a price and list the item under Fixed price and check off the "Immediate Payment required" box in the listing form.   This leaves the listing up until it's really paid for in paypal.   The scammers will email you and try to get you to sell it off ebay - decline.   MAKE SURE YOU BUY INSURANCE FOR IT AND ONLY SELL IN YOUR HOME COUNTRY.  USPS, for instance, does not have any delivery confirmation ( which you should always get) outside the US for any of its services. ...
