Moving to Mexico, Paid through US PayPal

Have a friend in the same situation, and she just had her PP account locked because she was withdrawing money from Mexican ATMs for over a year. They told her she had to get a Mexican PP account, but the company we both work for is in the US and pays through the US PayPal service.   I need to know what to do about this. I know I can have accounts in two countries, but only one can be a business account. I want to keep my business account in the US.   Can I transfer funds from my US PayPal to my MX PayPal account to withdraw it in Mexico? Can I transfer it to my US bank and withdraw it from there? Can I transfer money from my US PP to a US bank with an office in Mexico? Can I not use my US PayPal card to pay for goods in MX?     ... View more

Why does Dollar General no longer accept PayPal?

I got really embarrassed last week when I had to put all my stuff back because they no longer accept PayPal debit cards, in fact, they don't accept PayPal at all. When I asked the company why, they said "talk to PayPal," so here I am. Why are they not accepting PayPal anymore? This is a major inconvenience to me, since I work online and get paid through PayPal. Now I have to transfer money from PP to my bank just to shop at DG, or stop shopping there.    Not cool. I fixed #3.  I don't know how that got unchecked, because I had it done before. I don't know why that is a problem, though, because I had plenty in my account to pay the $100, and I've never had a problem before. I pay at least one of my bills through PayPal every month ( have to pay utilities through the bank) without a problem.     I don't have a credit card, and have explained that to PayPal many times, and told them that my bank debit card would be pointless, because they'd just be taking the money out of my bank account, since I only have one bank account. They said a bank account was fine, because if there wasn't enough money in the bank account, they simply wouldn't approve the payment.    I work online and have no choice but to be paid through PP, but if they insist I link a card, I'll just transfer my daily balances to my bank and not use PP for sending money anymore. It's convenient, but it's not necessary to my life.    My son and I send money back and forth a lot. He loans me money when I need it, and I pay him back. We also send each other money for birthdays and holidays through PP.  They know this.  Nobody has notified him that his account has been limited, nor have they notified me that mine has been, but just to be on the safe side, I'll go ahead and transfer all my money out to my bank now, because I live on very little, and I can't afford to not be able to access it.      ... You may be being scammed. Call your creditor directly and see what is what. If your PayPal account shows the payments were sent, send him a copy of those payments.   Scammrs are EVERYWHERE. Don't ever respond to any kind of email like this, or a phone call. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS call your creditor directly, or go to their office if it is local. ... View more

I used my PP debit card to purchase minutes for my Net10 phone. The site said the card had been declined, but now there are three charges deducted from my PP account, and I still haven't gotten my minutes put onto my phone. I can't call anyone to complain, because my phone is evidently suspended now.   I have sent an email and asked PP to refund these amounts to me. Will they do that? Persistent login problems

I have a persistent problem with my login. I have had to reset my password 5 times in the past few weeks due to not being able to log in. I've run scans on my computer and there is no spyware or keylogger. I wrote to PayPal asking them about this problem, and they never responded. I get paid through PayPal, so I really need to get this resolved. Right now, I am immediately transferring all amounts out to my bank account as soon as they arrive, so I can insure that they are not stolen, as I have had improper charges on my account in the past.   I am running out of passwords! I've done every kind of complicated password I can think of, and it's really getting aggravating that they all stop working after just a few days. ... View more
