In general, if your account is limited, you should be able to see in your Resolution Centre some steps to complete in order to solve the issue. Once you have provided all the requested information, the relevant department would review your information as soon as possible.
If you have contacted a Financial Ombudsman who has already got in touch with PayPal, they should receive an update as soon as the review has been completed. In general, the Financial Ombudsman would receive a timeframe after contacting the relevant department.
