This is the text I received from "PayPal". I'm not sure this is actually even sourced from PayPal. I may be wrong, but the replies offered don't seem logical: I.E... YES (to retry) NO or STOP.  Here's copy of text:  PayPal: A $75.00 USD purchase with card x-[removed] at GIANT FUEL 6046 was declined. To retry this purchase, reply YES. To lock this card, reply NO. Text STOP to turn off texts for this card. I then went online and noticed a charge of $150 I attempted to call PayPal. PayPal was not answering! Off work till Monday. Why doesn't PayPal at least make an attempt to work with the customer during "after hours". Knowing the thiefs are going to take advantage of the fact that PayPal staff are unavailable and are off work promptly at 5:00 p.m. Friday and not back till exactly 8:00 am Monday???? Come on PayPal. SO.... now PayPal  wants to cancel my card. I will be out of a card for @ 10 days! And unable to withdraw cash, etc... But, If I withdraw cash in advance or transfer money to a Bank (which I don't use)...Everything will be Copestatic.... Not good PayPal.  😓   ... View more

I've been using PayPal for @ 1 yr now  and the problem is: When a potential customer signs on to my Hotspot login page then selects credit/online time. He is directed to PayPal gateway. Customer inserts financial info to make payment, PayPal page allows customer to input info, but does not close transaction. Page simply loops. Apparrantly it is due to the IP's of the PayPal gateway changing subsequently not allowing the hotspot cache/database to accept the confirmed transaction. Not sure of the fix. But, we've come up with a script that updates the cache on the Hotspot server to follow the live IP of the PayPal gateway. This is a brief and general overview from my understanding of what is happening. Is anyone familiar with this transaction process and the flow. If there is a clear explanation and a fix, I would appreciate it. As, I still lose customers at the moment they input credit card info with the looping PayPal page. Thanks ... View more
