How to exclude Paypal as a payment method from Eto...

Hello. I have a problem. I funded etoro using my paypal account which is linked to my salary debit card. As per Etoro's policy. When I make a withdrawal they will refund the original payment method used first which means if I deposited $200 to etoro using paypal they will refund $200 back. I made a withdrawal last March 31. ETORO was able to process it and Paypal refunded it to my card. However my card is unable to process that transaction and I haven't received that money back. It's been two months. I have gotten the ARN number but my bank is still too incompetent to process it. I have decided to not pursue that amount and just count it as a lost cause so now I am trying to have paypal excluded as a payment method so my future withdrawal will not be directed to Paypal and to that crap card. To do that Etoro asked me to get an email from Paypal that gives Etoro permission to exclude it as a payment method. I have tried talking to paypal assistants but they couldn't seem to comprehend. Someone actually told me to write a snail mail to Paypal. An actual letter that I will have to mail from my country to the USA. Is there a better way to actually get them to respond properly? Does anyone know if talking to an actual paypal representative is better than the chat support? I really need help on this. I'm at my wits end. ... View more

You have to link your paypal to your gcash account. Go to My linked accounts and select Paypal and just do all the steps until you get a message that says the link has been successful.    With regards to getting the gcash mastercard: You have to go to a globe center and ask for it. You'll get it within the day. It's super convenient because you can withdraw from any atm. ... View more

G-Xchange is the name of the company that GCash uses to transfer funds from your Paypal to Gcash. If you look at your email from paypal regarding pre-approved payments you will see the name G-Xchange.  It's the online equivalent of LBC, Cebuana and Mlhuiller and even paypal itself. Chances are your money has been transferred but the system hasn't updated itself. If your money is not reflected on your account within 24 hours then you have to call Paypal and or Gcash services.  ... View more

Hi. I had the same issue today. I had uninstalled gcash for a while thinking I won't use it again but a payment transfer came so I had to reinstall it.  I also got the same error message and I've been looking for an answer online but then I solved it by simply re-linking my paypal account to my gcash account and after doing that I was able to transfer funds.   Here's the step-by-step process:   Go to your My linked accounts. Select Paypal and just press link. You'll get a pop-up message about un-linking your old paypal account but unless you are using a new paypal account you can ignore this and just click Yes. You'll be redirected to a paypal page that says Link your account with paypal. You'll be prompted to type your email and password. Click Authorize when you're done. After doing all these steps, you'll get a message saying Paypal account linking complete.   You can then try to cash-in from your paypal account.  ... View more
