If you’re trying to make a payment for today, schedule it no later than 11:59 PM PT to get same-day credit.   Payments scheduled for a future date will process on the date you select. Although we don’t process payments on weekends or holidays, you’ll receive credit for making a payment on those days.   All payments may take up to 3-5 business days from the date they’re processed to show on your account.   Please allow up to 8 days for your payment to reflect on your available credit.     ok....so which one is it? ... I made a pre-order payment to a company called irresistables. I put $20 to hold 2 reborn kits that will become available at the end of January I used Paypal to take the money out of my bank. I checked to make certain that was how it was paid. There will be a balance of $178 due when the kits become available. Those are the facts as I understand them today. I was looking at my Paypal Credit account and saw this (see screenshot)   My question is; is this already now a transaction to be paid by my paypal credit? Why is it even showing up under my credit statement? And I have just reached my limit so this is quite a bit over that limit I made a payment today(not posted yet) and usually pay off my credit line every month. so this showed up when I had 0 available credit.   I do not have a problem if this will be financed, because it would help since it is for 2 kits that will ultimately make me $500 and I would love to be able to buy more.   I just dont know what this is all about, why iut showed up on my PPC statement and if it is already considered a done deal or not since I see no place asking me if I want this to be financed.   It is New Years so Paypal is not open. Anything any of you can do to guide me down the rightb path would be awesome     ... View more

PP available Credit

I am having an issue with my available credit.   I am always loading up my PP Credit because I use it to purchase supplies for my business. It doesn't get credited as fast as I would prefer but it gets there. One thing is for certain, it has never been posted to the balance without my available credit line reflecting that adjustment.   I made a$250 payment on Nov. 2. On Nov 4 my credit balance reflected the $250 payment, but my 'available' credit did not.   I contacted Cs and was told it was because my payment was still pending. It cleared my bank so i called again. Cs said it would not be available until my new billing cycle Nov 19 which almost gave me a heart attack because had that always been the case I would have paid my minimum due and set those extra funds aside so i could have access to them. And I would have made the larger payments closer to my billing cycle. I asked to speak to her supervisor who assured me that was 100% incorrect and those funds would be available on Nov.7. Of course he said the rep needed to be "schooled" but frankly since I started using Paypal 8 years ago, I have gotten used to being told all kinds of crazy things when the rep is obviously clueless, This seems to be procedure.   Last evening I received notice that my payment cleared and posted and my credit line is now available ... ...but it's not. I missed out on an incredible deal that could have saved me $60.  Anyone have an idea about my next logical step? thanks      ... View more

You can open a merchant account. Very easy, your bank will help you and you can accept payments directly from the credit card companies without PayPal intervening. Save money and save yourself ulcers from begging for what is rightfully your.s   All warranties still apply. The customer can still get a money back guarantee.   PayPal was once a great idea, but like all great ideas, when it changes hands so often and the original insight is all but lost, it no longer can work for the majority and becomes a place of greed. ...
