Unfortunately, there's not going to be much recourse for you here.  or on Ebay.   Seller protection won't apply on a digital/virtual code/ item/ etc.   You could try to recover the account with Steam, but eBay won't intervene on that.     I would try submitting the issue to Steam directly, and get them to help.  They just might.     ... Did you actively respond to the dispute?  Did you provide information and explanations to the eBay Resolution team? Just seems like something wasn't handled properly or in a timely fashion.   Id be curious to see the dispute history from the Resolution Center to see why eBay handled it the way they did... (if you black out names and personal information you could screenshot it to us)   You can always reach out to eBay directly and find out why/how they ruled on a dispute.     Would need to see the eBay side of this dispute to lend any more insight 😕   ... There may have been other charges or credits still pending on your account.  A different line item may have reconciled before available balance updated, as well.  You will often see this happening if you use a PayPal Business Debit MasterCard (because of processing and finalization time differences between different merchants)   If you go back to the "classic site" view and look at your detailed history, you can view your transactions with a running balance sheet and see where your funds are/were.   You can also get a breakdown for each individual transaction and see what funds were pulled from where to reconcile that specific transaction. (i.e. Bank Account, PayPal Balance, Dollar amount, etc)       Hope this helps!  ... View more

Hi there,   More information would be needed to help here.     Until you have established a positive seller history, the funds you receive from an eBay sale will be held by PayPal to ensure that the buyer is protected.  If the funds were released to you from PayPal because your sale was completed, then those funds would stay in your PayPal account as available balance.     >If there was a dispute raised BEFORE PayPal released the auction funds to you, then they would just return those funds back directly to the buyer, and you would never see that money in your PayPal account.   >If there was a dispute raised about that auction AFTER PayPal released the funds to you, then they would have to reconcile the funds from your available PayPal balance.  If that balance was insufficient, then they would go to your bank account to get the rest.      There's also a few other scenarios that could play out, but without knowing more about this specific transaction I'm limited to the insight I can provide to you.     ... Hi!   This one is just annoying, but there's no account problems 🙂   All that this means is that when you paid the seller you used a link other than the one located in the "My eBay" -> 'Purchase History' section, or you paid directly through PayPal or the seller's own invoice.   Your "My eBay" only has the ability to track payments sent directly through its section/link.     The seller didn't manually go in and mark your auction as "Payment Received" in their dashboard, so you are seeing that reflected in your item history.   These items will automatically expire from your view in 31 days, typically. This issue requires no action from you.  You could ask the seller if they would go in and manually check "Mark as Payment Received" for your auction, but it is not necessary.  As I stated, these items will automatically be removed from your page. Thanks!     ... View more

Re: Paypal Credit Option is Greyed Ebay

There's a couple reasons this may happen...   1)  One of the following conditions may be true:  A seller isn’t eligible to accept PayPal Credit You’re buying an item sold in a currency that is not supported You have a PayPal Smart Connect or PayPal Extras MasterCard linked to your PayPal account   2)  Your browser may not be supported.  Make sure you're on the newest version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE, or Safari.  Chrome is a preferred browser.   I assume that you are seeing this error on the first Check Out/ Pay Now screen.  If you cannot click the box at all (it's greyed-out from the very first screen) it is very likely that one of the conditions from section 1 above are true.     NOTE: *Not all sellers may accept PayPal Credit as a Payment Option.  They can both accept PayPal payments and not accept PayPal Credit payments.  It is not required that a seller accept PayPal Credit as an option.  (or they may not have the type of account that makes them eligible for PayPal Credit payments)     *Items being sold by a foreign seller or in a foreign currency that PayPal Credit does not accept will not allow you to use the PayPal Credit option.   *If you have made recent changes to your PayPal account or added new products or services to your PayPal account, then you may have a conflict.  (i.e. PayPal Extras)  ...
