Until you have established a positive seller history, the funds you receive from an eBay sale will be held by PayPal to ensure that the buyer is protected. If the funds were released to you from PayPal because your sale was completed, then those funds would stay in your PayPal account as available balance. >If there was a dispute raised BEFORE PayPal released the auction funds to you, then they would just return those funds back directly to the buyer, and you would never see that money in your PayPal account. >If there was a dispute raised about that auction AFTER PayPal released the funds to you, then they would have to reconcile the funds from your available PayPal balance. If that balance was insufficient, then they would go to your bank account to get the rest.
