I have same problem with Diners Club card. Paypal see it as Discover card. Problem is that my card is at Euro currency. So to my problem is even vorse. Each time when I pay Euro payment PayPal first convert it to dollars and then Diners convert it back to Euros. I have russian paypal account, there was currency conversion and if you notice, when you transfer currency directly by tapping send money and ebay transfer this currency (PAYMENT CONVERTION) it self you pay more fees, much more, When you transfer currency with (CURRENCY CONVERSION) within account you get more edequate transfer rate, when you loose this option ebay ripps you all the way, I have to transfer money in other currency and do not have this option anymore paypal just gives me very high currency rates and I looose sooo much money!!!
