Recently I was charged a service fee on a personal transaction and have been unable to get a response from PayPal after filing a inquiry with the PayPal Assistant. My daughter, being out of town, asked me to pay a painter that was doing work on her home, which I did. She repaid me through PayPal but PayPal charged me a fee ($29.90) on the $1000 reimbursement. She did notate painter on the payment but this was not a payment for services provided by me. PayPal seemingly has ignored my several attempts to get this corrected. How can I get the service fee refunded?
