Paypal £50 Transfer Vanished - No One Will Help

Dear Paypal Community.   I am posting this after being treated with disdain by paypal and hoping a manager will find it who can act.  Or another user can come forward with this same issue I can recontact paypal with.   On Monday 17th August I transferred £50 by fast transfer from my bank to my paypal account.  The payment appeared for 2 minutes on my balance then vanished (which I have never seen happen before) and paypal said they did not have it.  My bank confirmed it was definitely received and with paypal.  Then when I asked paypal for an email confirming it is not in their system as instructed by my bank, the lady could not.  She advised there was a technical issue affecting a small number of users, causing payments to go missing.  So paypal were now admitting this their technical issue.   She told me to wait till Thursday (20th).  All users who had this happen she said were to have the payments returned to their banks, or placed in their paypal accounts.  However by the 20th nothing had arrived to either account despite her promises.   I contacted paypal again.  They said wait 24 more hours.  I contacted paypal again 24 hours later as they asked (now 5 days later).  I was told to send a bank statement.  I was told this time I would definitely get an email confirming paypal did not have the payment.  No email arrived.  I chased why I still had no email - Paypal did not reply.   My bank can offer full written correspondence paypal have the payment.  Paypal cannot offer me anything of any kind. This indicates the problem with paypal which they should resolve.   It would seem that paypal have just taken the £50, placed it in their system, admitting this their technical error, and keeping my money. No one will help.   The £50 is an important sum of money.  Money is very difficult with Covid 19 for us all and I am 55 with arthritis and it was to buy stamps to post my parcels.   I am just asking for an email they have not got the money.  Paypal will not issue me with this.   My bank again confirmed today paypal have the payment.   Has this happened to anyone else.     Stephanie         ... Hi Odinsbreadcare - Its happened to me too.  I have had all my former capitals repaid quickly - the last very quickly - and I cant find anything on my account that would be doing this.  Also the reps confirmed my account is indeed excellent in every region too.  I rely on paypal for these to purchase new stock and then sell it to generate turnover.  I feel anxious as I have built a 15 year strong paypal business that paypal are suddenly not backing me.  Its like your bank pulling their support.  You are not alone.  ... Paypal Working Capital

Can anyone please help.   I have an outstanding record with Working Capital.  All my loans are fully repaid (the last very swiftly) and each invested very wisely at the time to increase turnover.  This current period is a great opportunity to obtain stock to list in preparation of things lifting, and to time manage the day to maximise future returns.  But I keep getting this message... ... Sorry.. Paypal Working Capital Is Not Available For Your Business At Present".  I've spoken to paypal by phone - They said "keep trying" - they said my account is outstanding.... They could offer no explanation. .. They suggested I write in for an email response from the Working Capital team.   I've written twice.. the first time I was told to retry in a week by which time they could advise what was stopping it... I did this but they told me to "retry in 90 days" instead.   Has anyone else had this happen.  I am very disheartened as I feel paypal are not supporting me after I have created a paypal business with 15 years trading and loyalty too. ... My paypal homepage has all changed and its YEUCHHHH !!!!!!!!!!   I have my account history in just a small section.   Now I have all these really helpful sections like how to add paypal to my website when I have been taking payments from my website for 10 years.   Can I revert back ?   This is awful. ... I am SICK of this childrens playground layout.  I am trying to run a business around all this tomfoolery.  I've spoken to a paypal rep today and she said they are getting loads of calls about this from similar business users all day long - all saying the same that its now impossible to run a business through the site.  She couldnt comment but said she would take my comments to her line manager.  Today they removed the "classic site" option from the help section that was there till last night.  She fears it permenant.  I mentioned an "online petition" and she said "paypal wouldnt want that for publicity" - cant someone start one ????? ... Please can anyone help.  I make a withdrawl nearly every day - I always get my money instantly into paypal.  Today I did a withdrawl... it said 2 hours (as it always does) but now it is showing as pending with Your Withdrawl Request Is Awaing Release For Final Processing Pending Review By Paypal - The withdrawl e-mail says "24 hours" rather than 2 hours - then states it could be pending review (I think all e-mails say this) - However it seems to be pending review with no time stated on the paypal website info which is really scary - Does anyone know how long I may have to wait and what causes this ...
