As a replacement for the PayPal Student card, I found that Capital One offers something..... I have a Capital One 360 account already. I went to their website and they have a Capital One Money account for Students. I signed up my daughter for it this morning. It works in a similar manner to the PayPal Student card, except that you can only transfer money quickly from another Capital One account. It works for me because I was already moving money from my Cap One account anyway to PayPal for my daughter. It''s a bit better for me because now when I login to my Cap One banking app, I see my balance, my daughter's balance and my credit card balance all in screen. I now don't have to go a desktop to move money to the card.....in the PayPal app, I couldn't see my daughter's balance, nor could I move money to it easily.
