I bought an iPhone for £350 on Craigslist through PayPal as I thought it was safe, I sent it through goods and services, And anyway he said he will send it off for me and even gave me a tracking number, I opened it up and it was an empty phone box? I can't open a case as he has the the tracking number and will win? What can I do? I wanna go the police but I don't even know his name or address? Or where he's from or what he looks like?  I know hehas the phone as he wrote my name on a note next to the phone to verify its real. If I call PayPal can they give me it? Even if I said the police is involed? Or will the police get the info off them? What are my options? £350 is alot of money to lose 😞 Please help me!! I have no info other than a email address and his name? which could be fake? Hi all 🙂   Okay so basically, I had 0 in my PayPal account (But I did have money in my bank around £500 and haven't spent any money) someone took a claim out agaisnt me (INR) so anyway, My account went down to -19.12. I just got a refund for £16.99 and now take away off that from £19.12 is £2.13. Now it says £19.12 is pending and it was pending before since the amount has been frozen in my account due to the claim. I have a tracking number showing the item has been delivered so when I get the money Relased. Will my account balance be £19.12 plus the £2.13 or £19.13 plus the refund I had? I don't understand where the other amount of money would have gone?   Please help! ... View more

Okay so basically I sold a £50 voucher to a guy on craiglist and he paid through PayPal. And paid through the family and friends so I didn't have to pay fees. I didn't have a problem with fee's anyways. I sent the item off 2nd class recorded delivery and it has proof of his signature that he recieved the item.  He now is trying to do a chargeback He also has put it under 'Payment not authorized' Yet I have messages via email of him wanting to buy the item, And showing his interest. He also sent me his address through the PayPal notes. Anyways do you think I will win? If I don't anything I can do?   Thank you 🙂 ... View more
