I bought an item on eBay that wasn’t described so I returned it and the seller refunded my via eCheque (I hate these things). I had an email from PayPal today saying my refund didn’t complete and to contact the seller. Has this happened to anyone before and did you get you get your money back? I ordered an expensive item which arrived today but the box is damaged in one corner as it was not packaged properly. It’s a collectors item so a damaged box is no good to me and the contents inside could be damaged. I would like to return the item and have messaged the seller but they have a reputation of not responding and impossible to talk to over the phone, so I’m wandering if I’d be able to open a PayPal dispute to send it back through there? Will PayPal cover me for that? ... View more

I bought an item from a seller from a website called OnBuy and a couple of hours later I changed my mind and no longer needed the item so I requested to cancel my order. The seller denied my request to cancel and sent the item out anyway, so I messaged them to ask how will I return it when I receive it and they told my yo reject the parcel, which I did. The courier gave me a receipt and the item should go back to the seller. It’s been over a week now and I’ve messaged the seller to see if they’ve received it and they said no. They could be genuine but also be lying to not have to give my money back. If I don’t get anywhere with the seller and they don’t issue me a refund then how do I go about opening a dispute? I am returning a package to Hollister and if I use their return label they will deduct £5 off my refund to cover the postage. Will PayPal refund me the £5 if I upload the proof of delivery receipt from the Post Office, or, do I need to pay for the postage myself, which is an option, to get a refund for the return. I had a price match refund from Curry’s PC World on September 27th and my refund isn’t showing in my PayPal account. Curry’s is adamant they’ve refunded me and told me I need to contact PayPal but I’m having no luck trying to speak to someone. Can anyone advise me on what to do please? I have contacted my bank and they couldn’t find the refund either and they also said I need to contact PayPal, which is impossible. Thanks! ... View more
