Hi everyone,   A dear friend from Oman wanted to open a new paypal account in oman muscat but the issue he is facing is in the verification process, he has successfully made the account but for verification, when he tries to connect the bank account, it asks for the Routing Number or ABA, whereas, the ABA or Routing Numbers are only for the USA due to which he is unable to add the bank account at the moment, so please kindly help and suggest what should he do to get his account verified ?   Looking forward to the valueable comments. If the seller is willing to co-operate with you for a positive feedback, i mean if he gives you the refund for the item for not leaving a negative feedback, why would you leave him a negative feedback then ? You should try to discuss and resolve the problem with the seller because negative feedback is not the way out to solve your issues, if by discussing you get satisfied, then what else do you want ?   I am myself a seller on ebay and if any buyer threats me that he will leave me a negative feedback, i try to negotiate with him to make him happy for all and satisfied, negative feedback  creates alot of problems for the sellers account so no one would like to see it on their feedback history.   If the seller straight away stays rude with you, does not co-operates with you on any thing, then the only way is Negative Feedback, for sure.   So in short, the best solution is, try to sort out things with the seller, if he does not agrees with you, then throw away the negative feedback to alert the buyers. ... Incase the seller does not give you the tracking number and the parcel isnt delivered to your doorstep, the courier will put a notice in your mail box stating to collect the Parcel from the post office, you can take the notice to the post office and collect the parcel by yourself.   Better thing is to ask the seller to give the tracking number so you can keep it tracked.   Regards ... Hi,   Nothing to worry about, paypal does not provide claims to Virtual Items / Intangible Goods / Services, so once you receive the payment, buyer can not claim it, even if he opens the case, paypal will end it in your favor BUT YOU MUST BE PROVIDING THE ACTUAL SERVICE AS DISCUSSED WITH THE BUYER.   I have found some evidence of paypal's policy on google, here they are:   "your purchase was for a virtual, digital, or intangible item, which is not covered under PayPal Purchase Protection. We only cover claims involving physical items that can be shipped and tracked."   "Services and intangible items aren't protected."   I hope this helps. Regards Usman ... View more

Are you talking about eBay refund ? If, then does your ebay purchase shows that your money has been returned back ? If so, then it will take around 7 days to appear the refund in your paypal, you need to be patient.   Try highlighting the case so the people can better assist you 🙂 ... View more

^I would soo much agree with you on your point of view, paypal and ebay must increase the number of call attenders, this is not a reason that we have to wait because they have too much calls from all over the world, they are charging huge number of fees so they must add few more workers to provide better service to the customers, or atleast reply to the emails sent. ... I am using Hotmail for my paypal and ebay accounts, the best thing in hotmail is that the trusted website emails get a Green Sign with them, i never open any paypal or ebay email that does not have a Green Sign because i know thats some kind of scam so i right away delete them.   Probably one of my cousin got a victim of such email, he went through the links and entered his password probably (he doesnt accepts it though but i am sure he did) after which his paypal was charged for around $250, the good thing is that paypal got the money back later.   So beware of such emails, they can cause you big problems. ... Hi,   According to my experience, you would have to open an "Item not as described" case, select the options "Externally Damaged, Internally Damaged" and if missing parts, do select that option as well, you will have to add an amount of partial refund you would like to get, paypal will then ask the seller if he agrees to do the partial refund, if he declines, then you will have to return back the item to the seller on your own expense (loss), once the item is delivered to the seller and he confirms the delivery to paypal, you will get back your complete refund of the amount you paid.   Let me know if more help is required. Hi,   Sorry to read about your issue, i must say, im almost in the same boat with you, the same thing has happened with me recently, just the difference is that i shipped on the address paypal gave me and now the seller is asking to ship it on another address (different country), sellers claims that no one will accept my parcel on the address paypal gave me and i wont get back my money whereas paypal also states that the money will be returned once the seller confirms the delivery, i am myself confused now about what to do, the only way out i found is to contact paypal either via phone or email, tell them the complete story and ask them to solve the issue as soon as possible and return back the money.   I hope we both get our money soon.
