I purchased a pair of boots on Ebay. They were new, $124.99 and $12 shpg. Returns/refund was available. I ordered, paid with Paypal and received in a timely manner. Boots were not the quality I'd hoped for and sloppy fit, so I exercised my return option. I contacted seller and returned the day after I'd received them using USPS Priority mail with tracking. As I'd not received refund 10 days after their receipt of item, I contacted seller and was told they wouldn't refund until I canceled transaction as in their words: Dear lalitadivine00, HI. We can issue a refund after you agree to cancel the transaction. You are just seeing their standard warning which is greatly mis-leading. They just want to confuse you so that they can keep their Ebay fees. Thanks - bootgoddess I also consulted the Ebay Answer Center and was advised not to cancel until refund received. I opted out of the the "Cancel". Very soon I received a refund from seller for $99.99 saying that: Dear lalitadivine00, Your choice- not what we recommended! - bootgoddess Can I recover my $25? Thanks for your time. Laura
