Hello. Is there a PayPal credit calculator to work out minimum payments (which include interest etc). I am currently paying approx £10 a month for 340. I've been paying that for about a year and it's slowly coming down. However, since then the interest and how it's calculated has changed and I'm a bit confused on how much I'd be paying on new purchases. I want to buy something for, £450 (a washing machine+oven) and I was wondering what I'd have to pay a month. I'd be paying the minimum payment untill it's paid off. Can anybody help? Thank you. ... Refund on hold - Is seller lying to me?

Hey guys 🙂 I recently purcahsed something and through an error of mine I decided to cancel the item. The seller was MORE than happy to give a refund and within an hour of buying/paying for the item they issued a refund. However, it says it's on hold. 😞 I contacted them and they said that the refund would be back in my account within 48  hours (That was the 28th). Iit's still on hold..  Are theyjust saying this? The reason I am asking again is because things have changed. They are no longer asking me to send it to another address and would say they would help me BUT they needed me to get a code that the manafacturer were saying they couldn't give me. I felt this was a good enough reason to ask again to make sure I could still claim. It's a bit diff from saying "They want me to send to a diff address and are washing their hands of it" to "They are willing to help but need a code that I can not get". Hi guys! I have a problem. I asked a question on here a few days back.. but things have changed now -_- I bought from a shop called dabs.com. The item arrived dead! -_- After getting my request to return the item ignored.. and then told to sendit back to the company..  i finally got an email saying I needed to contact manafacturer for an uplift number -_- I called them... and they said that I didnt need one as the item was from a shop and it arrived dead. I contacted DABS who said i needed to call again and ask for the code.. -_- If i call again and they say no... can i claim it back on Paypal? I am getting passed around from one person to another and I am getting sick of it now. ... View more

As i got the Email saying that somebody replied to this thread, i also got an email from dabs saying "Please call ASUS requesting an uplift number" I called ASUS (The manafacturer) who have said that there is no need for an uplift number as it was a new item AND within the first 7 days of reciving the item.". Hi guys. Im sorry if this sounds stupid but ive never made a claim/dispute. I recently bought a new computer part from www.dabs.com which arrived faulty (not broken in the post). I contacted dabs.com within 7 days to report the fault. I then got an e-mail linking me to the manfacturers website (asus) and telling me to return it there. I called them and explained where they told me as it arrived faulty to contact the seller as it's their responability and it will be quicker. However, they could deal with the problem but it would be a repair and not a replacment and would take 6-10 weeks. I then contacted DABS who said the same thing and that  i'd have to claim on the warrenty. As the board was part of a computer build for my girlfriends birthday (on the 5th of dec) the item would not arrive in time. As the item is faulty I am entitled to a refund (consumer rights) but DABS.com isn't responding. Luckily I paid with Paypal. Would this warrent a dispute as 1: Goods were faulty 2: I reported the fault in 5 days 3: They are refusing to honor the consumer rights of having a refund if the item is faulty. Refund held on hold for more than 6 days

I was refunded a payment on the 17th of Novemember and had a hold put instantly on it. From what i understand this is commen if a refund is given pretty quickly on an item. However, the funds HAVE been removed from my bank account and have been for about 4 days now, yet the hold is still on my refund.  Any advice would be much appricated.
