I ordered an copy of a rare comic lithograph off of ebay for $200.00. I sent the money(paypal) and the seller shipped the item. I work weekends and it was going to be coming Monday when I would be home. (USPS tracking). I was at work on sat when I got an email saying it was coming early on sat (1.29) I got a message on my phone of a missed call from my main door in my aparment building. (buzzer does to phones) I got home at 400pm and found no package. Not left in any parcel lockers. So it was stolen. Talked to my mail lady today and she was off sat and had a sub, but had a few reports of packages missing on sat when she was not working. So the sub just did the job horribly. The mail supervisor that called me said First class packages do not have insurance and that the sender did not buy any. (Still waiting to hear back from seller on that). All he said was "He was sorry." and he added a note in the scanner to not leave packages out in that building. As if the sub lady would have bothered with that if she didn't place it in the parcel lockers anyway. So does ebay/paypal have coverage for this or am I out money unless I try to get 200 back from the seller?
