Hi, im on uk ebay, i won an item for £35.88 plus £3.41 postage from ireland, but that does not add up to the £40.81 that paypal charged. I looked up the currency exchanger online at google and it says 46.09 euros is £39.81? Can anyone shed some light. Many thanks

Hi, are you a new seller? If so the money can take up to 21 days to reach you. Has the buyer sent an e cheque, go to your paypal and have a look at details under transaction? Read what it says and look at the email address it has down for you? It mght be that your email address does not match what is on paypal. Don't panic yet but my advice is do not send your item until you know for sure you certainly have your payment!

Hi, i have looked at my credit card statement and paypal has taken two payments for the one item, same number same day for ebay, my problem is the seller has been booted off ebay has had her account closed. What do i do? I looked this prob up on google and can not find an answer. Please help as advice i will really appreciate. Many thanks

Hi, thanks for advice, you said exactly as i thought, i have now reported seller . I don't know why a seller would not sort out there paypal if it was hacked before listing items, very odd.

Hi, always use tracking post no matter where it is sent to as you are covered as a seller. The buyer has pulled a fast one and the only thing you can do is refund and never ever repeat this problem again. I feel so sad that you fell for this scam but i'm sure from now on you will always use post that can be tracked and need a signature. Put this buyer in the past, don't waste time on her, give her the refund and just say through gritted teeth, never again!

Hi, you can send a cancel form but she needs to agree on the form for you to get your fees back.

Hi, i have not come across this problem with an unregistered seller but i won two items on ebay and she stated on her description that she accepted paypal but she has sent me a message saying her paypal is hacked and that paypal has told her to tell customers that they have to pay by postal order which i find a cheek as you have to pay a charge at the po or bank transfer. What is going on here and i really do need advice as i pay via cc at paypal to protect me. Any advice would be so good.Thanks

hi, thanks for your advice, i do have a lot of emails saying they would refund me and i will record there phone call but somehow i knew i was being lied to when they said via email that they couldn't put it in paypal. They must think i'm stupid but the upsetting thing is i have now lost trust in ebay, i cant believe how they have treated me, worse thing is, the seller is a fraud and they know it but the evidence is there in his feedback and they have done nothing about him. Thanks again, i will try what you say.

Hi, at the end of october i won my ebay item not described case but when i was refunded the seller made sure the refund bounced. I got in contact with paypal and you who said it was ebay's problem. So for a month now ebay has said they would refund me as the seller's refund bounced but they lied as today after emails of promising my refund's they said it's paypals problem as we can't get into your paypal to refund you? The other buyer who the same seller bounced refund with fot there refund off ebay after 8days! Thing is, i have told paypal and they insist it's ebay's problem. My point is i am the innocent party and i have been robbed and i paid via my credit card at paypal. Seriously all this has made me cry, it's not fair. Please advise me as ebay have lied and paypal is wrong as well. I thought bounced refunds are illegal? Please help thanks.

please, please help. I am trying to get an answer so i can go to sleep. Seller would not send me my gold ring so i did an ebay case, ebay closed the case and said i had been refunded, I havent as paypal says the seller did not have funds in his bank and didnt clear, they also said contact seller, of course this scammer wont reply. I thought i was covered if i have paid through paypal on my cc. What is my next step, cant believe paypal said i cant have my refund. Please help. Thanks
