Hi Nightgazer,
I've got good news! Whether you're clicking a button to pay or using Send money, you can send money to your seller without first transferring the funds manually. The transfer happens automatically as part of the purchase! When you're making the purchase, simply review the payment details before clicking to confirm, and you'll see your bank selected as the payment source. 🙂
If you have a confirmed credit card on file as a backup payment source, the seller can receive the funds immediately as an Instant Transfer. Without a backup payment source, the seller would get an eCheck, and will send your item once the money clears from your bank. Either way, there would be no need for you to wait for the funds to clear before locking down your purchase.
The transfer you've begun can't be stopped, but if you have enough in your bank account, you can start a new payment the way I've described using your bank as the payment source. Once your first Add funds transfer has completed, the original $12.95 will be in your balance to spend on other purchases or withdraw, as you see fit.
To learn more about using your bank with PayPal, take a look at the Bank FAQ.
I hope this helps!
Olivia
